The Kingdom of XYZ is a silly adventure game made by one dude who likes too many video games. Solve puzzles, shoot the enemies, swim with jellyfish, also swim up a river, and follow a maze. Fun stuff all around!
Keyboard only. PC only. Fox only. Final Destination. No items.
Minimum specs: somewhere between a Commodore 64 and Windows 3.1.

Is it possible to save the game? I notice that the help screen recommends saving often, and the game over message offers to load saved games, but nothing seems to happen for me.

Nah, there's no saving. I initially had a save system in the game that i axed because it was causing game-breaking bugs. It seems i forgot to remove all the text talking about it! Sorryyy! :(
Its a relatively short game, should be beaten in 30-60 minutes. My apologies again!
Man, I used to love playing ZZT back in the day. Me and my friends would always try to make our own games in it, but we never got very far, and ended up just playing the files it came with. This is a really neat project and it made my day, thanks! :)

I too tried the editor back in the day, and man was it over my head. Loved Town and Dungeons.
